Section 4 — Payment & Data Storage
Our store uses secure third-party payment processors. Your payment card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council — a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

- _session_id — unique token, sessional. Stores information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
- _visit — no data held, persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
- _uniq — no data held, expires midnight of the next day. Counts the number of visits by a single customer.
- cart — unique token, persistent for 2 weeks. Stores information about the contents of your cart.
- _secure_session_id — unique token, sessional.
- storefront_digest — unique token, indefinite. If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
Section 8 — Age of Consent
By using this site or our app, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website and app. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
Section 10 — Social Media Integration & API Data
Our mobile application allows users to connect their TikTok and Instagram accounts to upload and publish video content directly from our app.
Data Collection
When you use these features, we access only the specific permissions granted via the TikTok Content Posting API and Meta Graph API (e.g., video.publish). We do not access any data beyond what is necessary to publish content on your behalf.
Data Storage
We do not store your social media passwords or login credentials. Content (videos) uploaded through the app are stored temporarily on our secure servers only for the duration required to transmit them to the respective social media platform. Once transmission is complete, temporary copies are deleted from our servers.
User Control
You can disconnect your social media accounts at any time through the app settings or by revoking access directly in your TikTok or Facebook security settings. Revoking access will immediately prevent our app from publishing content on your behalf.

Processing & Shipping Time
All orders will be processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment is received. For orders shipped from Nepal, please allow 7–14 business days for delivery. International shipments may be subject to customs inspections and delays.

- Express Shipping: Fastest option. Delivery times vary by location — up to 7 business days. Express shipping is more expensive than standard.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of your order and the shipping method chosen. The exact cost will be displayed during checkout.
Shipping Address
Please provide an accurate and complete shipping address, including full name, street address, city, state/province, postal code, and country. We are not responsible for delays or lost shipments due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
International Shipping
We ship our products worldwide. International shipments may be subject to customs inspections, delays, and customs duties or taxes imposed by your country. We are not responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or duties.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to track your order online.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. If your order is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to assist you.
Refund & Return Policy
Our customers can return their purchased items in case of damage or if they are not satisfied with the product. Items must be returned to the seller within 14 days of delivery.

Data Deletion & Account Removal
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data and account at any time. We take this right seriously and process all requests promptly.
How to Request Deletion
You can submit a deletion request at any time by visiting our Delete Account page. Alternatively, email us at info@paperlampshade.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request and include the email address associated with your account.
What Data Gets Deleted
- Your account profile — name, email address, and password hash
- All saved delivery addresses
- Cart and wishlist data
- Order history — records are anonymised (your personal identifiers are removed) rather than fully deleted, as we are required to retain transaction records for legal and accounting purposes.
How Long It Takes
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receipt. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation email to the address you provided. After deletion you will no longer be able to log in or access any account data.
