Our Flora Incense Stick range is the largest in our catalogue — more than 30 individual fragrances, each hand-rolled using locally sourced Himalayan herbs, resins, and flowers. Popular varieties include sandalwood, lavender, rose, jasmine, cedar, frankincense, myrrh, and lemongrass. We also carry more unusual scents such as nag champa, patchouli, vetiver, pine, ylang ylang, bergamot, amber, and white sage — as well as seasonal and temple blends unique to Nepal. All Flora Sticks are charcoal-free. They burn slowly and produce a thin, clean smoke rather than the thick plumes associated with charcoal-based incense. Each stick burns for approximately 30–45 minutes.

Herbal Rope Incense: A Traditional Himalayan Art Form

Herbal Rope incense is distinct from stick incense in both form and fragrance. Rather than being rolled onto a bamboo core, rope incense is twisted by hand from a damp paste of herbs, resins, and natural binders — then dried in long coils. To use, simply light the tip, let it catch for a few seconds, then blow out the flame. The coil smoulders slowly from one end, releasing a deep, complex fragrance that is quite different from stick incense. Rope incense is particularly popular for meditation rooms and prayer spaces.
